We were… Erm, post New Romantic pretty boys who hung around the Rum Runner. We played a couple of gigs at Snobs Nightclub, Valley Stadium, Redditch and had a feature and reviews in Brum Beat.
I played keyboards in Camille after this period. We certainly were “pretty boys” – playing Snobs in particular with full foundation/mascara/eyeliner and swept-back hair. Pre-gig visits to posh-Paul’s to choose our white designer gig outfits. Zog was a brilliant original guitarist/songwriter, and Carl an amazing but wild bassist – he once broke my thumb in 3 places. Happy days!
