Can anyomne remember what this venue was called before it was the Carling Academy. I’m sure I saw some great bands here… but the old grey matter is failing me – I can’t remember what it used to be called. We are talking about the venue at the bottom of Dale End, Upstairs, yes?

Over the years it has been know as the Top Rank Ballroom and The Hummingbird
Last gig I saw there was the Sex Pistols in June 2008. A totally awesome sweat-soaked night.
