  1. Another of the bands I engineered for, just found some of the gig tapes I did at the time.
I will try to post a track or two when I get a chance.

    1. This is the best news I have heard for a very long time!

Bess were a fantastic band that I loved to see down at the Barrell Organ – should have been so much more successful.
Many of the songs & their performance remain so clear in my memory from Give me your love to the end of night singalong to “Can’t you feel it?”.
I’ve searched in vain to find any recordings of the band over the years & so the thought of hearing some tracks again is simply brilliant.
      Can’t wait!

I was roadie and mixer with bess 1973/74 and played the barrel organ every tuesday night as resident band and sometimes used our gear for different act there with me mixing for them. i would like to find out more as i left the band about 1975/76 to get married

    1. Thanks Ian
Just listened to the whole set – absolutely brilliant!
It must be 36 years since I last heard those songs live in the Barrel Organ.

And those tunes were still all so familiar.

Great times from a great band.

Thanks for sharing this gold dust!
