Local band Floosie I Need You were notable for the drummer Dil Green who went onto to be the drummer in bIG fLAME, the post punk Manchester based band. Thanks to Mick Greenway for altering us to Floosie I Need You, just the name alone demands more information on them.
Dee has been a backing singer for years. Travelling the world and supporting two of the biggest acts around, Simply Red and UB40, Dee is still out there performing.
It doesn’t really need much introduction, but Snobs is a legendary venue in Birmingham. Better known as an indie and student populated nightclub it has been going for over 30 years.
Consisting of two rooms, it was mainly used a play back venue or PA show for ‘live’ music and really got its reputation for the club nights which included ridiculously cheap drinks.

The Triangle was located in Gosta Green right in the middle of Aston University and the Birmingham Institute for Art & Design. It housed the fabled experimental Arts Lab group, members of whom would go on to create great things in Theatre and Audio Visual disciplines. It also housed the wonderful and much missed Triangle Cinema.
