All of these gigs are from The Birmingham Evening Mail and are for Bull’s Head in Yardley
Wages of Sin featured brothers Ed and Brian Pilling who later fronted Canadian band, Fludd; Mick Hopkins who was in Lemon Tree and Idle Race among others and Tony Clarkson who was in World of Oz. Hopkins and Clarkson had played with John Bonham in Way of Life during 1966.

I remember going to the Bull’s Head in 1964 and remember Carl Wayne and the Vikings who were playing before he became part of the Move.
does anyone remember any gigs from 1977 – trying to find out if siouxsie and tha banshees played there – September 1977 – any press clippings – adverts etc

Yes they did is my recollection. I lived very near by. Don’t know exactly when.
As a member of ‘Shingles’ around 1964, I remember playing several times at the Bulls Head , Yardley. You couldn’t forget having to drag 4 x 12″ speaker cabs up that staircase into the upstairs performance room …. phew ! Good gig though.
