These guys were way ahead of the field. They practically invented the ‘Glam Metal’ look single handed. Years later when lots of Metal bands started churning out MTV videos and wanted a good look for the screen, they all start turning up looking like Wrathchild clones. If you go onto Youtube and search for Wrathchild vids, the comment threads will be filled by American Glam Metal fands saying ‘they’ve copied Motley Crew!” and such… It makes my blood boil! Credit were credit is due, Wrathchild were the first, pity they didn’t copyright the look 😉
