Hi. The venue was actually called “Synatra’s” although they used old blue eyes’ face on their ads.
They were situated at 15-19 Snow Hill Queensway when I saw Del Amitri play there on Friday 11 August 1989.

Saw some mental gigs in there.
Guns n Wankers – absolutely brilliant with one microphone between them.
Stalingrad where the drummer literally powered his way through the drum kit and landed in a heap at the feet of the crowd.
Scorn, Leggo’s band (I forget the name), Police Bastard etc etc.
Such a tiny place.
Also punk discos too run by Stu Pid if memory serves.

I was at that Del Amitri gig and they refused to play any of the 1st Album just new tracks off new Album that went on to be a big success for them
