Hi, lovely web site, how come you do not have the Morgue, Kings Head, Bearwood listed in your venue list?
Lot’s of the 60’s bands played there such as The Ugly’s, Spencer Davis Group and The Moody Blues. It was a real good night out providing you did not lean against the Black painted walls as they were soaking wet as the night progressed. Real good times. Baz.
My friend Ken and I Mike Kedian painted the morgue with black walls and skeletons etc: he was the son of the landlord Bert Hamnett. he took the money on the door and met many of the bands. John Singer ran the club.
