The Roadhouse was built originally by Bryan Withey and the Boring Old Fartz MCC as a clubhouse for a motorbike club for meetings and as a music venue from the old Strikers indoor cricket venue because of having a drinks licence. Sue Fear (Viper) a bands promoter from the Breedon Bar continued to book great bands often circumventing managers. My favourite being Man from Wales
